FAQs

How long does grooming session takes?

Basic groom approximately 1 - 2 hours for small breeds
2 - 4 hours for medium/large breeds

Full groom approximately 1 - 3 hours for small breeds
2 - 4 hours for medium/large breeds

Why are there dematting/deshedding charges?

For certain breeds that are double coated, there are undercoat/deadcoat in them when not brushed regularly. Deshedding is required to prevent matted/knotted fur, and to prevent accumulation to bigger matts which may lead to pelting.

For dogs with medium-long coat, when not brushed regularly, it will result in matted/knotted/tangled fur and it will accumulate into bigger matts if not treated right away, and will lead to pelting.

Pelted fur will prevent proper airflow & temperature regulation, and will lead to infection/skin irritation, discomfort & pain to your dog.

Note:
Pelting/Pelted fur: When fur are matted too tightly to skin

The grooming session will take a much longer time as we will do our best to avoid causing any injury and ensure proper deshedding/dematting of heavily pelted fur. Also, this process will lower the tool quality at a faster rate, thus we incur additional charge for these services.

Do you groom old dogs / dogs who needs special care?

We will do our best to groom senior and special care dogs. Please do inform us prior booking an appointment with us.

Note:
If your dog is on her period with a heavy flow, we will suggest to reschedule the appointment.
If your dog just had a vaccination, please seek vet advise if it is fit for grooming/bath.
If your dog has a wound, we will suggest you to bring it to the vet to disinfect and get treated proir grooming.

Do we provide transportation?

Sorry, we do not provide transportation as we strongly advise pet owners to be present on the very first (at least) and concurrent appointments, so that we can better understand each pet’s condition from you personally.

How often should I bring my dog for grooming?

We strongly advise to have your dog groomed every 4 weeks, not exceeding 8 weeks for Full groom, and every 2 - 4 weeks for Basic groom

Can I stay within the premises?

You may watch your pet by our glass window outside the salon. However, we do not encourage you to do so as it will cause your pet to be more anxious.

Can I leave my dog there and pick up at a later time after grooming?

Kindly pick up within an hour when you receive our text to inform that your pet is ready to go home. If you can only pick up at a later time, there will be daycare charge one hour after you received a text from our groomers that your dog is ready.
(Charges by size and breed, per dog, per hour $15/$20)

When can I start sending my puppy in for grooming?

Typically at 16 weeks, after they have completed their initial vaccinations.
It is generally recommended to start grooming your puppy as soon as possible to get them used to the process and tools. It can help them become more comfortable with the experience as they grow.
